CRC Communications - Mount McKay Tower

This tower is located on land leased from the Fort William First Nation. This site has been located on the same location since the 1970s!

MisKelly's Electronics first installed this site. After Motorola purchased Miskelly's in 1982, the tower height was increased form 70 feet to the current 120 feet in 1985. CRC Communications purchased Motorola's assets in 1992 and has operated the tower since that time.

This site offers excellent City of Thunder Bay coverage in the VHF, UHF and 800/900 MHz bands.

This site has back up a diesel generator and off site video monitoring and recording.
